We have always been known for designing and producing award-winning First and Business Class cutlery for leading flag carriers and boutique airlines. However, there is a growing demand for Economy Class cutlery. “Going back to the old days of aviation,” so to speak.

After the global pandemic of 2019 there has been a shift in the vision of many airlines. Economy Class cabins are becoming more premium, as passengers are increasingly demanding. Many airlines are upgrading their seats and inflight entertainment systems. Amenity kits are stocked with luxury brands, even in Economy Class. Onboard catering is following this trend as well: meals are getting tastier, beverage selections wider and presentation more important than ever. At Sola, we make sure that the cutlery perfectly complements the complete tray setup. Oh, and don’t forget the environmental impact of single use cutlery compared to our stainless steel option. Sola’s Economy Class cutlery can be washed and repacked over and over again.
